Trial-sized...Simple Sample Promotion
Have you ever wanted to send samples to your customers through the mail but thought it may be too difficult or cost too much in postage? Well think again. Starting August 1, 2013 the USPS will be offering a postage discount to those mailers who send out qualified mailings of trial-sized sample products. The only catch is that you must register ahead of time before mailing. Please see the link below for more information and how to get started saving in postage.
Express Mail may soon be called Priority Mail Express
Submitted for approval by the Postal Regulatory Commission on 04/24/2013 the USPS is requesting to change the names of the express mail services to the following:
- Express Mail to Priority Mail Express
- Express Mail Corporate Account (EMCA) to USPS Corporate Account (USPSCA)
- Express Mail International to Priority Mail Express International.
The change is designed to increase the recognition and positive awareness of the Priority Mail brand. To read the official request, please click the link below.
It's Official - IMb Requirement 01/24/2014
As of 04/19/2013 the Postmaster General of the United States Patrick Donahoe has officially stated that the Intelligent Mail barcode will be mandatory if mailers want to conitnue to receive automated discount on their First-Class, Standard, Bound Printed Matter and Periodical mailings.
